Let’s Find Eco Edutainment

Let’s Find Eco is a mobile app game and has a board game to go along it. The main objective is to capture the mischievous chameleon that is Eco who is causing a mess with the main ecosystems. The player with some help, must fix each habitat and catch Eco. The goal in a consumer side is for kids to learn about the ecosystems while also having fun. The goal was let the illustrations be detailed. having a natural feel and texture look to them. The colors are half of bright and color while also muted to keep the balance of the palette.

The target audience is for children from 6-10 years of age. Let’s Find Eco is an edutainment that helps kids learn about the ecosystems like the habitats, animals, and plants. The mobile app is more exclusively to a single player experience while the board game is more open ended with playing with family or friends. This leans to kids who are curious of their environments and want to learn about it while having fun playing games.

Let’s Find Eco design works overall for simplicity of style but keeping the resemblances to nature with its brush texture. The colors fit the theme of the subject but also having bright colors to grab kid’s attention. The activites laid out in the mobile devices is simple enough to follow instructions but also challenges them when learning about the various elements in ecosystems.

These are examples of what the game looks in a mobile screen. The player explores with a companion, Mouse, to track down the mischievous chameleon, Eco. While exploring, the player will learn fun facts about the environment, animals, and plants. Here is what the main screen, menu screen, different levels and scrapbook sections would look like.
